Industrial Training(15 June- 6 July 2013)
College conducted three week Industrial training for 7th Semester (Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology branch) students. Training included concepts of Core Java & Advanced Java. Training was organized by Ex-vice president Zensar Technologies Mr. Prem Apte and the instructor for the training was Mr. Kedar Tokekar, who is corporate Java Trainer and Expert. Around 100 students participated in the training. Mr. Tokekar conducted the practical and theory sessions for the same. Training improved the programming skills of the students and prepared a solid base for major project.
Microsoft Technology Associates(MTA) Certification Training(February 2013)

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) training delivers essential technology skills and an industry-recognized certification to engineering students in order to enhance their understanding of IT fundamentals. S.D. Bansal College of Technology is an authorized testing center for conducting MTA Certification exams thus helping students determine their future study path while boosting their confidence and preparing them for IT career paths.

Students of Computer Science & Engineering and Inforamtion Technology participated in the training. After the training, students appeared into Online MTA Certification exam and get their certificates from Microsoft.

Mission10X Worshop(31st Jan-4th Feb 2012) by Wipro
"The vision of this workshop was Enabling academic leaders to look beyond efficient administration towards effective leadership and there by influencing the quality of education within there institutions” (MxLA) is a new teaching-learning paradigm that helps an Engineer enhances his/her employability competencies. On completion of the workshop, the participants are provided with various resource kits and certificates like Cambridge Certification for teachers, MxLA Certificate and certificate from Dale Carnegie's international institute.
Core Teaching Skills - July, 11-16, 2011 by NITTTR Bhopal
A one week training program was organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal for development of " Core Teaching Skills". The Expert lectures were conducted for about 25 faculty members of various department. The program was specifically designed for engineering college teachers to develop in them requisite knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes to enable them to deliver content proficiently. It proved as a very successful program for the teachers from various disciplines who wish to continue in this noble profession.

Vigyan Darshan(Feb 28, 2011)
"Vigyan Darshan " a Model and Poster Competition was organized for all students of Indore on the occasion of "National Science Day" by S. D. Bansal College of Technology & KCB Technical Academy. A workshop was also held by Science Centre Indore, where basic concepts and principles of Science was explained.
Workshop On Soft Computing(Feb 4-5,2011)

SD Bansal College of Technology & KCB Technical Academy Indore, jointly organized two days workshop on ‘Soft Computing’ during Feb 4-5,2011. The keynote speakers of the workshop were Dr. N Dagdee , Director Sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology, Dr. Suresh Jain, KCB Technical Academy & Dr.Aruna Tiwari & Ms. Anuradha Purohit, Associate Professor, SGSITS, Indore.

The objective of this workshop was to give exposure to the faculty from various engineering colleges on emerging field of soft computing .The workshop was very helpful to solve the real life problems using the methodologies of soft computing. The principal constituents of soft computing were artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, neuro computing & genetic algorithms.The aim of workshop was to exploit the tolerance for imprecision & uncertainity & to employ mechanisms/techniques for information processing.

Annual Function(Frequency 2010 Hz)
The technical festival and annual day function was organized on 27th to 29th October 2010. Various technical and non technical events like Paper Presentation, Virtual(Mock) Campus, S/W Quiz, PS2 Games, Electronics Junkyard, Woodball, Skating, Scary House, Gully Football, Slow Cycle Race, Creative Art, Petancue etc. Presentation and tutorial talks by academicians and experts from industry spread the knowledge to all participants. Authors from all over the country presented their research work on various latest technologies in computer engineering and information technology
National Conference
National Conference A National Conference "ETCOMP-2010" was held in the SDBCT from March 25-26, 2010. The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. D. B. Phatak (Prof. Comp. Sc. & Engg, IIT Mumbai). Delegates from Academic institutes, Industries and students participated in the conference . Presentation and tutorial talks by academicians and experts from industry spread the knowledge to all participants. Authors from all over the country presented their research work on various latest technologies in computer engineering and information technology
IEEE Student Branch
The college opened a student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in year 2008 and since then our college activities under the membership of IEEE are being continued with renewed vigor and emulation, year on year. . IEEE membership helps support the IEEE mission of promoting the engineering profession for the benefit of humanity and the profession. Membership also enables affordable student membership, funds university program accreditation and helps introduce technology careers to young people around the world.
Computer Literacy Program
Under Community Services project, the Computer Literacy Program was organized twice for high school students of Govt. High School, Umaria in year 2009 and 2010.
